So the other day....

We were outside chatting with our neighbor when a pigeon landed on her house. She had gone inside and called me, the pigeon was trying to get in.

I went outside and sure enough he was. She got some bread and I began to hand feed him, then we all took turns holding him. Cute little thing. He was a homing pigeon belonging to one of our neighbors.

Can life be any sweeter!!!

Dinner tonight..

So for the past three nights, Jorge has made dinner for our families. It was fantastic tonight!

It was chorizo, potatos, fried up then put on these rolls that were dipped in tomato sauce and then fried.

It was sooooooooooo goooooooooooooooodddddddddddd.

Wedding...

So we went to a wedding last Sunday. My step-sisters. It was about a 2 1/2 hour drive for us. So we wound up spending the night at the hotel where it was hosted. It was a great evening. And one CRAZY wedding.

Wedding..Gift

Sooo We had a wedding this weekend and this was the gift I bought and made with the help of my neighbor and friend. She is sooo gifted in this area. The couple originally got married in Hawaii about a year ago and they love it there so I found Hawian themed dishes and made the baset below, it had a chip and dip plate, veggie bowl, salad bowl, 6 tiki cups, 6 dinner plates, 6 dessert/salad plates, 6 bowls, 6 green placemats, 2 towels that we made, a hawain themed apron, 2 tiki wine glasses, 2 large platters. We then stuck it all in large tub for ice and drinks. I soo hope she likes it!!! I had a great time putting it all together.
